Design & Installation Procedure
- Plan a budget. Kitchens can cost between £5,000 for a basic range - £25,000 for a big detailed and complicated kitchen.
- Choose a kitchen range you would like:

- Give me a call and arrange a visit.
- On my visit I will measure your kitchen and discuss your requirements, suggesting ideas over various problems you may have. I listen to what you want to get out of your kitchen and what suits you best. Some customers have a clear idea of what they would like, others need extra guidance. Either way it’s not a problem.
- I take the measurements away to the company you have chosen your kitchen range from and there I work in conjunction with them to come up with a kitchen design and layout.
- I then arrange another visit where we can finalise your kitchen design and show you a copy of the plan and 3 D visual layout. The plan and 3 D layout can be purchased for a fee of £50.00. This will be refunded if you go ahead with my quotation.
- After this last visit, I then work out a detailed price and post you a formal quotation.
- If you are happy with the quotation, a deposit of 20% is required to secure a date in the booking diary. Which I’m proud to say, I strictly stick to. Then 40% is required on day one of my start date.
- All work is carried out cleanly and methodically with care and consideration. I leave access points to all water valves for further use. I generally only have your water turned off for an hour, as I install shut off valves. I then concentrate on getting your sink up and running first. Shortly followed by the oven and hob.
- I use a masons mitre on the worktop corners and varnish all worktop sink cut outs and joints. Metal strips are still on the market if you prefer this option. Please state this at the design stage.
- I use a competent part P registered Electrician to complete all the electrical requirements. Also using a Corgi registered gas fitter for your gas requirements.
- If any problems arise during installing your kitchen, options to get over this problem will be discussed with you personally. This avoids disappointment at the end.
- Tilling is the last job in order to complete the kitchen.
- The complete installation of a kitchen varies from 1 – 4 weeks dependant upon size and complications.
- When you're completely satisfied with your kitchen, then I’m afraid its time to pay your final instalment!
The most important thing overall, is that you are very happy with the end result. Just like all my other customers have been. This is helped by a good level of communication between the customer and myself.
